LOI International President Lauren L. Darr Interviews Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ENCO Systems Don Backus for the “LOI International Media Outlook Book 2010-2012”
GREENS FORK, IN—November 18, 2009 LOI International is proud to announce that Don Backus, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ENCO Systems, will be featured in the “LOI International Media Outlook Book 2010-2012.” Since 1972, Don has worked in the broadcast industry— both in the Radio and Television station side and as a vendor to the industry. He has held just about every position in a station you could think of including being an owner. He also co-founded a commercial recording studio and performed award-winning voice work. He has been with ENCO Systems since 1999.
Lauren L. Darr, President of LOI International and interviewer, commented, “Don’s breadth of experience in the industry coupled with his ‘no holds barred’ opinions made him a perfect match for this book project. We were looking for innovators unafraid of being on the cutting edge and talking about it. We definitely have that in Don.”
Don commented, “Lauren really ‘gets’ marketing to the broadcast industry and is a smart, savvy professional communicator. In her new book, she’s put together a roster of industry people that will hopefully provoke conversations and strategies aimed at improving and growing our industry with the exchange of ideas. She’s got great insight, asks good questions and, while I suppose it might not matter in the context of her new book, she’s a great person, too!”
